Crackdown’s franchise is soon to be released in 2018, probably around spring. This game has been setback for almost 2 years. It was originally going to be available for purchase in 2016. It seems like a lot is going into perfecting Crackdown 3. With 4 different developers and being published by Microsoft Studios, one can only imagine what’s in store. Featuring a standard singleplayer and multiplayer experience, the destructible environments will have you enjoying the both of these modes. This installment will be on Microsoft Windows and the Xbox One. Get ready to spring into excitement playing the Unreal Engine’s 2018 shooter.

Developers

Many titles have simply one developer, I think we’re going to have to crackdown on why this is the case. Sumo Digital, Reagent Games, Ruffian Games and Cloudgine are the big men in the room today. An independent game studio from the UK, Crackdown’s manager, another British studio and a Scottish developer have teamed up with Microsoft for Crackdown 3. Being announced in 2014, it is very odd that it has taken many more years than expected to finally release. Generally when we think of delays, it’s because something bad has happened. It will usually make the consumer think twice when it truly drops. There is definitely a chance that this just means we’ll have the best possible game. Let us hope Microsoft delivers another worthwhile video game.

Crackdown 2

Ruffian Games is the only developer that contributed to the 2nd piece of the puzzle. It was only released on the Xbox 360. Taking a look solely at the very noticeable differences between the production of this franchise, I think it’s safe to assume that their third game will have a lot of different features and mechanics to offer. If this is a big flop, I seriously doubt the puzzle will ever be finished.
